Once you’ve selected your gown, it’s time to start thinking about hair and makeup. You might want to put a file together of various looks that you’d like to try, keeping in mind your hair length and texture. I suggest we meet to discuss these looks and do a trial run.
In terms of makeup, the questions I ask brides are:
1. What time of day is your ceremony?
2. Is it indoors or outdoors?
3. What colors do you prefer?
4. Do you think you’d like a natural look or something a little more
glamorous?
After each look is completed, I take digital photos that I print for you so that you can decide what you like or don’t like. This also gives you an idea of how the look photographs which is especially helpful for those of you who don’t regularly wear much makeup. We can talk about any changes and I’ll know how much time to allow and plan accordingly. The trial run usually takes anywhere from 2 to 3 hours.
