In June I was asked to do a fashion show at the jlm Couture Shop on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood. In this show, all the gowns were designed by Hayley Paige. Beautiful gowns, gorgeous models, fabulous food and drink...a lovely evening!

Also in June, I did the makeup on Heather Schorr for her and her fiance's engagement photos.

Janice and Jason's Engagement Session and Lunch at Maravilla Gardens

Two weeks ago, I met Janice and Jason at Maravilla Gardens to shoot their engagement session and lunch. Janice won this session when she attended a Soolip Wedding show in March. It was a beautiful setting for this lovely couple and we went all out for them!  Sarah of Gather Events styled the shoot, Meg Hall of Food By Meg, LLC. made the delicious lunch and Jen O'Sullivan took the gorgeous photos!  They even brought their very cute and well behaved pooch, Fuji.

Irish Love

Right before St. Patrick's Day, photographers Susannah and Lukas Van Dyke asked me to do hair for their styled shoot titled, Irish Love. Josh and Meghan Lubeck are  the beautiful couple ( and yes, that is  really Meghan's own gorgeous red hair!).   Styled shoots are so much fun and we all get to work with the best of the best!

A Soolip Wedding....a Success!

What a gorgeous day for the Soolip Wedding show on Sunday! Stephanie Navarro (pictured above with me) helped me out at my booth(above, center) and thank God she did! We never stopped from the minute the doors opened till the end of the show at 4. We had so much fun and I think we'll be doing some weddings this year and next year because of it. The photo above me and Stephanie, is of me working on a July bride-to-be, Maya Jazner ( photo by Jen O'Sullivan).

What's wonderful about the show are the amazingly talented ( and, incredibly nice) vendors we get to meet and, hopefully work with. Some of my favorites are, the Butterend Cakery( the absolute BEST tasting and artistically beautiful cakes), Made by Meg catering(where the foodies go when they're looking for a caterer), Wisteria Lane Flower Shop (an eco-friendly floral studio) who also did the beautiful and fragrant flowers for my booth, Copper WillowPaper Studio, an eco-correct home-grown letterpress studio, and Jen O'Sullivan, the best boutique wedding photographer.

Wanda Wen, who started A Soolip Wedding is to be congratulated along with Eric and Brooke, for putting together the most beautiful bridal event of the year at the heavenly Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. I felt honored to be a part of it.

Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades. It is the most intimate and elegant bridal show and I am so honored to be one of the vendors and actually the only hair stylist and makeup artist in the show!
